Tragedy strikes Algerian football clubs
Algerian football is mourning the untimely deaths of two L1 players, Tout sur l'Algerie reported on Monday (June 25th).
AS Khroub midfielder Hamza Bounab, 28, died Saturday of a heart attack during a charity tournament in Ain Abid, near Constantine. After beginning his career with ASK, he played for CABBA, CA Batna, MO Constantine and CR Belouizdad before returning to the AS Khroub this past season.
Young MCE Eulma defender Noureddine Boutaïba drowned in a dam near his hometown of Chlef.
