JSMB secure Champions League slot
JSM Bejaia will represent Algeria in the Orange CAF Champions League, following a 2-1 victory over MCS Mostaganem on Saturday (May 19th). JSMB ended second in the local league, with the same number of points (53) as champions ES Setif. USM Alger beat ESS 2-0 to finish the season in third place and a spot in the next CAF Cup.
In other week-end news, four NA Hussein-Dey players were slightly injured in a car accident on Friday, 30km north-east of Bouira.
Aimen Madi, Ahmed Zaki Ben Yahia, Rafik Boussaid and Samir Zenou were travelling to Constantine for the Saturday game against the local team, which ended with a 3-3 draw. NAHD, AS Khroub and MC Saïda will play in League 2 next season.
