MAT take Botola lead
Maghreb Tétouan now lead the Moroccan Pro Elite 1 table, after beating hosts Raja Casablanca 2-0 on Monday (April 23rd). MAT have 49 points after Day 26, while RCA remain in third place with 45 points.
Also on Monday, FUS Rabat and guests Ittihad Khemisset played a nil draw. The capital team are now second in the Botola table with 48 points.
In other Day 26 action, Wydad Casablanca drew 0-0 with their hosts Chabab Rif al-Hoceima, CODM beat guests Wydad Fès 1-0, HUSA and JSM drew 1-1, OC Khouribga beat OC Safi 2-0 and Difaa El Jadida beat FAR Rabat 3-2.
CAF Super Cup title-holders Moghreb Fès, however, may have paid a price for their 3-0 win over visitors Kénitra AC. According to Ahram Online, keeper Mohamed Sakhra was injured during the Sunday match and will be off the pitch for 10 days until his shoulder heals. MAS face Egypt's Zamalek at the week-end for a CAF Champions League clash.
