Algerian wins world track title
Algerian runner Abdelmajed Touil won the 18th World University Cross-Country Championship, APS reported on Monday (April 16th). Touil clocked 29:11 for the gold medal Saturday in Lodz, Poland. Seventy-six athletes from 22 countries started in the men's race.
Algeria finished 3rd in the team standings, behind Japan and Ukraine.
