Tunisia finishes third in African Shooting Championship
Tunisia ranked third with ten medals -- four gold, four silver and two bronze -- at the 8th African shooting championship, a qualifier for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, that was held through Friday (March 9th) in Cairo. Egypt won the tournament, followed by South Africa. The results allowed Tunisia to qualify for the women's 10m air pistol event. Some 208 shooters from 12 countries took part in the championship.
