Olympique Lyonnais still interested in Chamakh
Olympique Lyonnais President Jean-Michel Aulas has reiterated his interest in signing Moroccan national team and Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh. The 22-year-old was approached by Lyon last summer, but no deal was made as the two French Ligue 1 clubs disagreed over the transfer fee.
"We haven't forgotten about Chamakh. For us he is a great talent," Aulas said in an interview with French newspaper Sud-Ouest Wednesday (10 May). "We will keep making offers to Bordeaux until they agree to let him go. If he wants to join us as of next season, we would be very happy to welcome him," he added. (Morocco Times, Reuters)
