Tunisia Wins Most Gold Medals at African Boxing Championship
Tunisian boxers were the most successful at the 14th edition of the African Boxing Championship in Casablanca by winning five gold medals, while Morocco took three and Algeria took two. Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia accounted for 15 of the 22 finalists at the event. The only gold medal not won by a North African was in the 48kg class, which was won by Namibian Japeth Uutoni.
