Sidi Bouzid court frees protestors
A Sidi Bouzid court on Wednesday (August 15th) released dozens of protesters arrested last week during demonstrations over water shortages, unemployment and other issues, Tunisia Live reported.
On Tuesday, an estimated 2,000 Sidi Bouzid citizens held a general strike to demand the release of the detainees and press for government reform, infrastructure development and employment opportunities.
