Lockerbie bomber dies in Libya
Convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Basset al-Megrahi died at his home in Libya on Sunday (May 20th), his brother Abdelhakim told AFP. He was 60.
A former Kadhafi intelligence officer, al-Megrahi was convicted of murder for his role in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland that claimed 270 lives. Al-Megrahi was released on compassionate grounds in 2009 suffering from terminal cancer.

Abdel Basset al-Megrahi died with his secret! I don’t think that it is Abdel Basset al-Megrahi who blew up the Lockerbie aircraft.
