Morocco is making great strides in its fight against transnational organised crime, Interior Minister Mohand Laenser told legislators on Monday (May 7th).

Morocco has mobilised all technological resources for border security, "with an emphasis on preventive action", MAP quoted the minister as saying.

While noting progress in the fight against the trafficking of drugs and weapons, Laenser said that securing the country's borders requires on-going co-operation between security agencies, citizens and associations.
