Kabylie citizens rally against terrorism
Tizi Ouzou residents continue to exert pressure on the terrorists holding local businessman Omar Rabahallah, Tout sur l'Algerie reported on Tuesday (May 1st). After the general strike held Monday in Maâtkas, a committee representing 15 villages called for a massive rally Thursday in Souk El Tenine to demand the victim's unconditional release. Another half-day general strike is also planned for Thursday.
The construction company owner was kidnapped last Wednesday in Bouhamdoune. The incident marked the 67th abduction in the Tizi Ouzou region since 2005.
