Jijel street vendor dies of burns
The young Jijel street vendor who set himself afire Sunday in an act of desperation died Tuesday morning (May 1st) at hospital in Constantine, Algerie1.com reported.
After an altercation with Algerian police and the destruction of his cigarette cart, Hamza Rachak, 25, doused himself with petrol.
His self-immolation triggered a riot by neighbourhood youths.
