Islamist protestors on Wednesday (April 25th) ended their nearly two-month sit-in outside the Tunis office of television station Al Wataniya. On Tuesday, violent clashes between the Islamists and TV station staff left three Al Wataniya employees injured, Tunisia Live reported.

The "Campaign of Free Tunisians to Cleanse the Media of Shame" began their sit-in on March 2nd. Al Wataniya has received the support of forty NGOs, who denounced "systematic attacks against the right to information", AFP reported.
