Moroccan minister visits Algiers
Moroccan Education Minister Mohamed El-Ouafa met with Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci Monday (April 23rd) in Algiers to discuss the "new" relationship between the countries, APS reported.
El Ouafa, who began a three-day official visit to Algeria on Sunday upon the invitation of his Algerian counterpart Boubker Benbouzid, called for further developing relations between the two countries to help make the Maghreb region stable in the political, economic and social spheres.
"There a hope that the Algerian and Moroccan peoples can return to their historical relationships to build the future of the Arab Maghreb region," he said.
The education ministers will sign a training and education agreement Tuesday in Algiers, MAP reported. The Moroccan state news agency added that the act "is part of the revival of sectoral co-operation between Algeria and Morocco".
