Libya, Egypt hold bilateral talks

Libya on Monday (January 16th) welcomes an Egyptian government delegation led by Supreme Council of the Armed Forces head Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Tripoli Post reported. According to Egyptian state newspaper Al-Ahram, Tantawi's visit aims at opening "a new page with Libya".

Tantawi will meet with National Transitional Council (NTC) head Mustafa Abdel Jalil, Prime Minister Abdurrahim El Keib and other government officials to reportedly discuss Libya reconstruction and Libyan investments in Egypt. Egyptian and Libyan officials from the electricity, higher education, ICT, housing, petroleum and investment sectors will also hold talks in Tripoli.
