Tunisia to assist Libya reconstruction
Representatives of Libyan and Tunisian companies met in Tunis on Wednesday (December 28th) to discuss post-war reconstruction in Libya, TAP reported. Building and contractor unions agreed to set up joint companies to handle strategic projects in Libya.
"We will ensure that housing projects and community facilities are built only by Libyan companies and joint Tunisian-Libyan ventures," said Abdelmajid Mohamed Kchir, president of the Libyan builders' union.
Some 200, 000 jobs could be available for Tunisian workers in Libya.
