Algeria to explore geothermal energy
Algeria plans to expand its renewable energy sources to geothermal technologies, APS reported on Wednesday (December 7th). According to New Energy Algeria (NEAL) chief Badis Derradji, the country's focus is on solar and wind energy development but there is great potential in geothermal power generation. Derradji called for regulatory mechanisms in order to attract necessary investment in the area.
