Ben Ali military trial set to open
The first military trial of ousted Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and 22 of his top associates will begin December 12th, a military court in El Kef announced on Monday (November 28th). The trial is related to the killing of 22 demonstrators in Thala and Kasserine during the revolution. The defendants could receive the death penalty.
