Libya names interim cabinet
Libyan Prime Minister-designate Abdurrahim El Keib on Monday (November 21st) announced the National Transitional Council (NTC) cabinet, Al Arabiya reported.
Zintan Military Council chief Osama al-Juwali will serve as defence minister. The other key post went to Ibrahim Dabbashi, Libya's representative to the United Nations. Dabbashi, who was Kadhafi's deputy ambassador to the UN before defecting to join the rebellion, will serve as the NTC's foreign minister.
Petroleum and Finance Minister Ali Tarhouni will retain his position, while Libyan National Oil Company (NOC) executive Hassan Ziglam will assume the oil portfolio.
