UN Human Rights Council re-admits Libya
The United Nations on Friday (November 18th) voted to readmit Libya to the UN Human Rights Council. The UN member states also adopted a resolution welcoming recent commitments by Libya to protect human rights, democracy and the rule of law, and to cooperate with relevant international human rights mechanisms.
