Nouakchott hosts women's rights workshop
A training workshop on women's rights opened Sunday (October 30th) in the Nouakchott suburb of El Mina, ANI reported. Organised by Mauritanian women and children's assistance association ASFED and supported by the Global Fund for Women, the two-day event aims at raising awareness of women rights. Additional meetings are planned for Mederdra and other towns to educate women about political participation.
