Tunisia holds test vote
A week ahead of the Tunisian elections, the Independent High Electoral Commission (ISIE) chose the Tunis District 1 polling station to hold a test vote, TAP reported on Sunday (October 16th). The dry run in the Lafayette area of the capital was conducted to identify "any problems and to fix them so that we can hold elections in the best possible conditions", ISIE member Larbi Chouika told AFP. Sixty voters participated in the successful simulation.
