Morocco hosts African education summit
African ministers and NGO leaders joined UNESCO and USAID delegates in Morocco on Tuesday (July 12th) for the 1st African Education Summit, MAP reported. Education infrastructure and the use of information and communication technologies topped talks at the two-day forum in Skhirat. Morocco, Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, Zimbabwe and Zambia participated in the forum, which aims to improve African education by forging new relationships with investors and the private sector.
