UNHCR to set up office in Tunisia
Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Mouldi Kefi and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Antonio Guterres on Saturday (June 18th) signed an agreement for the establishment of an UNHCR office, TAP reported. "We want the UNHCR office in Tunisia to be a hub of co-ordination of our internal operations in the Maghreb," Gerets is quoted as saying. He arrived in Tunisia last week as part of commemorations marking World Refugee Day on June 20th.
