New Western Sahara talks set for Malta
Morocco and the Polisario will meet in Malta next Monday for another round of unofficial, UN-brokered negotiations, the UN announced on Thursday (February 3rd). UN Western Sahara Envoy Christopher Ross will mediate the talks, which will include observers Algeria and Mauritania. The parties failed to reach an accord during their Western Sahara negotiations in Manhasset last January.
