European Parliament, Libya discuss pending accord
The European Parliament on Thursday (January 20th) set out conditions for the pending co-operation accord with Libya, ANSA reported. The protection of migrants and recognition of the status of refugees must be addressed in the framework agreement, which covers political relations, immigration and energy. The deputies also asked for an EU delegation office in Tripoli and a moratorium on the death penalty.
