Tunis hosts Arab Police and Security Conference
Law enforcement, police and security officials gathered in Tunis for the 34th Arab Police and Security Conference, TAP reported on Thursday (December 9th). Secretary-General Mohamed Bin Ali Koman attended the 2-day event, which discussed crime, terrorism and human rights. In his opening address on Tuesday, Tunisian Interior Minister Rafik Belhadj Kacem stressed the need to boost youth participation in public affairs. He noted that Tunisia has used the strategy to discourage fanaticism.
