OIF lifts sanctions against Mauritania
The International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) lifted Mauritania's suspension on Tuesday (December 15th), local press reported. The organisation also called for member states to support Mauritania's effort to follow the rule of law, promote a democratic culture and respect human rights.
