EU, Morocco plan first bilateral summit
Morocco and the European Union will hold their first bilateral summit in 2010, ANSA reported on Monday (December 7th). The announcement was made by the EU-Morocco Association Council, currently meeting in Brussels. European Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner has urged the parties to finalise ongoing negotiations in the agriculture sector to help reduce rural poverty in Morocco and boost exports to Europe.
