Tunisia releases extradited terror convict
A Tunis court freed convicted terrorist Ali Toumi on bond Monday (August 10th) to prepare for his Thursday trial, AFP reported. In May, Toumi completed a six-year Italian prison sentence for recruiting insurgents for Iraq. Despite a ruling against his extradition by the European Court of Justice, Italy deported him to his native Tunisia on August 2nd.
