African journalists unveil new network in Algiers
African reporters visiting Algeria for PANAF 2009 plan to launch a new network for "inter-African journalistic co-operation" Sunday (July 19th) in Algiers, APS quoted network co-ordinator Rabah Helis as saying. The group hopes to "unite the efforts of African journalists working for the preservation, dissemination, promotion and development of African culture", Helis said.
