Mauritania junta leader declines to sever diplomatic ties with Israel
Mauritanian political party leaders called Sunday (January 4th) for the country to sever diplomatic ties with Israel over the Gaza offensive, ANI reported. However, junta leader General Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz reportedly told the politicians that the time is "not favourable" and that the current situation does not permit the rupture of relations with Israel.
Meanwhile, Mauritanian police used batons and tear gas Sunday to stop protesters heading to the Israeli embassy in Nouakchott, local press reported. The clashes started after demonstrators barricaded streets with burning tires and smashed the windows of vehicles.

Maybe it was this other Zionist junta that forced him to take power in Mauritania!?! So, have a little recognition for these “good-doers”; otherwise, how do you justify diplomatic relations being established and maintained with the terrorist state of Israel in spite of the genocide of the Palestinian people, the state terrorism, the crimes against humanity and the Zionist mercenaries??? Poor Mauritania.
