Morocco seeks to try Madrid bomber for Casablanca terror attacks
Morocco has requested the extradition of Moroccan Hassan al-Haski from Spain, where he is serving a 14-year sentence for the 2004 Madrid bombing, AFP reported on Wednesday (August 13th). Morocco wants to put al-Haski on trial for the 2003 attacks in Casablanca. Reportedly, the terrorist is known as one of the "Afghan Moroccans" who created the Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group (GICM) linked to al-Qaeda.
