Thai oil and gas firm strikes oil in Algeria
Thailand's PTT Exploration and Production has found oil and gas in Algeria, the company announced this week. PTT and the other two companies in the consortium made oil and gas discoveries with an exploration well drilled in two of Algeria's onshore blocks. Testing encountered two zones of oil-bearing formation near the large oil field of Hassi Messaoud.
