The fourth session of the Algeria-UAE Joint Committee wrapped up Wednesday (3 May) in Algiers with the signing of five co-operation agreements in the economy, culture, telecommunications and sports sectors. The deals include a Memorandum of Agreement between Algeria's Stock Exchange Transactions Monitoring Commission and the UAE Stock Exchange Regulatory Authority and a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries' Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Algerian Finance Minister Mourad Medelci and UAE Economic Minister Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi. (El Moudjahid, El Watan)
