International NGOs organise "Partnership & Peace Tour" in Morocco
A delegation from Sister Cities International and People-to-People International are on a goodwill mission to Morocco from 17-27 March, dubbed the Partnership & Peace Tour. The delegation will visit Rabat, Fez, Marrakech and Casablanca in a move to set up new sister city ties and strengthen existing relations.
A conference, "Reaching Out to Your Global Neighbours Through Citizen Diplomacy: Promoting Islamic-U.S. Relationships" will be held in Casablanca as part of the 50th anniversary of the citizen diplomacy movement. Current sister city relationships between the United States and Morocco include Casablanca with Chicago. (Morocco Times)
