An academy for young scientists was launched Friday (6 January) in Morocco. It aims at enhancing scientific research as a strategic choice accompanying national and international developments, Minister of National Education and Scientific Research Habib El Malki said at the opening ceremony. The initiative follows the recommendations of a meeting of the World Academy for Young Scientists, held in Marrakech in December, which called for the creation of such academies and of a national networking of young scientists.
