New Microfinance Credit Bureau for Moroccans
PlaNet Finance Maroc and the Grameen Foundation USA announced a joint initiative to develop a software package for creating a credit bureau for microfinance borrowers on Tuesday (5 July). When implemented, the new programme will allow underprivileged borrowers in Morocco to establish a credit history to help move them into the financial mainstream.
PlaNet Finance is an international non-governmental organization that aims to alleviate poverty worldwide thanks to the development of microfinance. (albawaba.com)
