El Ferda de Kenadsa Performs in Algiers
On Wednesday (1 June), El Ferda de Kenadsa performed its brand of mystical music in Algiers. According to Liberte Algerie, the group frequently performs with traditional instruments such as the târ (tambourine equipped with small cymbals), the taâridja (small drum) and the oud. The unique music style is further enriched by violins. (albawaba.com)
