The second Youth Theatre Festival, organized under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, began Saturday (2 April) in Rabat. The event is scheduled to proceed until 9 April with the participation of 133 theatre troupes from all areas of the country. A Tunisian theatre company will also take part.

Stage performances and workshops on writing, criticism, scene planning, management, and actor training will be held. The festival aims to contribute to the education of young people as well as promote the principles of citizenship, solidarity, dialogue, and tolerance through theatre. (Liberation)
