Paulo Coelho Presents Arabic Translation of "The Alchemist"
Brazilian author Paulo Coelho presented "Al Keemea'i," the Arabic translation of his bestseller "The Alchemist," on Friday (18 February) in Casablanca. "It was Morocco, my first contact with the Arab culture, that inspired me to write my best seller, 'The Alchemist,'" Coelho said describing his trip to Morocco in 1982.
"The Alchemist" promoters in Morocco Marsam and Sirpus Publishers said they signed a contract to publish Arabic translations of other Coelho books such as "Eleven Minutes" and "Veronika Decides to Die." (Morocco Times)
