Moroccan chess clubs host friendly tournament with Russia

Moroccan chess champion Laila El Amri won the 3rd Russian-Moroccan Friendship women's tournament on Sunday (November 1st), MAP reported. The Rabat event featured some 20 participants from different Moroccan clubs. Former world champion Anatoly Karpov will attend the award ceremony on November 8th. On Thursday, Karpov will open a chess school bearing his name in Rabat.
