Al-Ittihad win second straight Libya title

Al-Itthad were crowned Libyan champions for the second year in a row on Friday night (June 27th after the last day of the first division championship competition. Al-Ittihad topped the standings with 71 points, ahead of Al-Ahli Benghazi (67) and Al-Ahli Tripoli (66). Al-Jazira, Al-Wihda, Sûreté Publique and Wifak Sabratha were all relegated to the second division.
