Morocco coach Roger Lemerre voiced satisfaction over his players' attitude during the African/World Cup combined qualifier against Cameroon last Sunday in Yaounde, Goal.com reported on Tuesday (June 9th). Lemerre called the aggressiveness showed by his team and staff "remarkable" and said that the goalless draw preserved Morocco's chances to advance.
Elsewhere, Moroccan international and Tottenham midfielder Adel Taarabt expressed his will to play in the June 20th combined qualifier against Togo in Rabat on June 20th, saying that he has fully recovered from knee surgery, Goal.com reported on Wednesday (June 10th). In an interview on French radio, Taarabt said he had wanted to play against Cameroon but his London-based club didn't want him to take the risk.
