Morocco to face "battle of the lions" in Yaounde
2009-06-07
Morocco are looking to qualify for their first World Cup since 1998 when they play hosts Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a combined qualifier Sunday (June 7th) at Stade Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaounde. "The encounter will be a difficult one and Cameroon are a strong team. Nevertheless, we have the same chances as they do and we're going to do our best to revive our chances in the qualification race for the World Cup," Goal.com quoted Atlas Lions midfielder Karim El Ahamdi as saying.
