Algerian minimum wage increase talks to resume

Plans to raise Algeria's national guaranteed minimum wage (SNMG) will top the agenda at the next tripartite meeting of Algerian government representatives, employers and the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), APS reported on Sunday (November 1st). According to UGTA Information Secretary Abdelkader Malki, the Union aims to achieve enough of a wage hike that the purchasing powers of workers will improve.
