Algeria marks 55th anniversary of liberation struggle start

Algerian political leaders, international diplomats, sports stars, civil society representatives and other dignitaries gathered on Sunday (November 1st) in Algiers to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the "Appeal of November 1st 1954", APS reported. Historians credit the document as launching the struggle for liberation from French rule.

congratulations to all Algerians concerning the anniversary of the liberation from the French colonial yoke....just a thought..if Algeria were still French today...would not all Algerians be EU citizens today ?? I would appreciate some Algerian thoughts...
