Mauritania film festival to highlight female directors

Mauritania's 4th National Film Week (SENAF) opens on Friday (October 23rd) in Nouakchott, ANI reported. More than 20 foreign filmmakers will take part in the 6-day event. Special attention will be paid to women's presence in the cinema, with screenings of work by female filmmakers from Germany, Mauritania, Tunisia and Senegal. This year's edition of Film Week, held under the slogan "To Live Together", aims at highlighting regional and global co-existence.
