Morocco, NATO sign anti-terror MoU

Morocco and NATO agreed on Friday (October 23rd) to extend anti-terrorism co-operation as part of the Mediterranean Dialogue partnership, Italian newspaper Libero reported. As part of the Mediterranean Dialogue partnership, Moroccan Admiral Mohamed Berrada Gouzi and the commander of "Operation Active Endeavour" signed an accord outlining Morocco's contributions to NATO's anti-terrorism maritime mission.
In related news, MAP reported that diplomatic and military officials from the Mediterranean region will meet in Barcelona on October 26th for the 8th International Seminar on Security and Defence.
