Tunisia to build 40 solar plants by 2016

Tunisia will build 40 solar plants by 2016, Tunisia Online reported on Monday (October 19th). The new national solar plan, which aims at reducing energy consumption by 22%, is supported by the World Bank's Clean Technologies Fund. Tunisia has already launched several solar energy co-operation projects with German, Italian and Japanese companies.
